Sales Representative
Summary
The Sales Representative’s responsibility is to engage with clients to solve business problems through the use of technology and professional services. Nevtec sales professionals thrive by developing long-term relationships with both existing accounts and new accounts through the sales processes in conjunction with marketing efforts and vendor partnerships. Previous experience in the technology industry is preferred but is not required. Compensation plan includes a base salary plus commissions.
Essential Functions
Business-to-business sales position with strong customer service and account management experience
Maintain a working level and understanding of technical business solutions
Ability to prospect and network with community businesses and leaders
Develop solutions for clients in tandem with a technical support team

Network Administrator
Summary
Nevtec is looking for an experienced network administrator to join a team of IT professionals. This is a full-time position with benefits. This position will play a strategic role in not only maintaining and managing existing partner networks, but also in designing and implementing various IT projects for an ever-expanding client base. This position will offer you the experience of constantly learning and growing your skills with a variety of network, virtualization, and security projects.
A successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the networking and systems security arena. This position is for someone who is willing to handle and address all aspects of our clients’ networks and take an active role in new client projects – from needs analysis to implementation. The person fulfilling this role will have demonstrated or proven skills in designing, implementing, and managing systems with the following components:
Windows Server
Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange
VMWare
In addition, you will need to have a solid understanding of securing networks with firewalls, configuring VPN, and corporate antivirus solutions. The ability to manage your own projects and meet deadlines cannot be overstated.
Responsibilities
Set up/configure SANs, routers, SSL VPN, and Remote Desktop solutions
Network administration and maintenance for new and existing networks
Firewall/VPN installations, planning, and maintenance with SonicWALL security appliances
Set up/configure/deploy VoIP solutions, as well as encryption, wireless, firewall, and other security solutions
Remote and on-site support for client networks
Assist with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 installation, maintenance, and migration projects
Implementation and maintenance of corporate antivirus solutions
Set up and maintain DNS, DHCP, and other core networking elements
Managing Nevtec’s cloud-based firewall and backup solutions
Assist in maintaining disaster recovery plans and documentation for client networks
Assist, lead, and/or collaborate with clients in the performance of server or network support
Ability to troubleshoot (and restore if necessary) Microsoft Windows servers, workstations, and Microsoft Exchange
Set up and maintain cloud solutions
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years experience as a network administrator
Be able to manage projects from beginning to completion and meet deadlines with little supervision
Experience with firewall management (SonicWALL, Cisco, Fortinet)
Sound understanding of TCP/IP protocol and components (DNS, DHCP, routing, etc)
Ability to design and maintain networks with segmentation (such as VLAN)
Ability to interact with a broad range of personalities through the use of excellent interpersonal skills, mature judgment, and diplomacy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A strong work ethic, coupled with a sense of responsibility and a “do what it takes to get the job done” attitude
Ability to mentor junior technical staff
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
How to stand out:
MCSA or MCSE Certification
VMWare VCP or VCAP5 certification (huge plus)
SonicWALL, Fortinet, or Cisco certifications
Experience providing IT consulting services
Strong knowledge of HP and Dell servers, switches, and SANs
Linux experience
Experience in supporting phone systems
Education
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A two-year AA or AS technical degree with work experience is acceptable
