Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for an Inside Sales Representative. This is an entry to mid-level position for full time employment.


Responsibilities:

Lead generation through cold calling and relationship building

Creating, generating, and qualifying sales lists

Managing licenses/license renewals

Providing quotes to clients and assisting sales staff with proposals and quotes

Working with clients and potential clients to help qualify needs

Serving as a liaison between technical staff, sales staff, and clients

Assisting clients with sales/operational issues i.e. work to make sure clients are happy and their needs are being addressed



Requirements:

Does this sound like you? We are looking for someone with a minimum of 6 months experience in sales and customer service. A successful candidate will have the creativity and determination to do what it takes to get the job done. We are looking for the type of person that when they hit a wall, they figure out a way around it or how to climb over it. We are not looking for someone who sits back and waits for things to happen. Although the primary function of this position is sales, an ideal candidate is someone who takes this position and makes it their own. If you have initiative and are not afraid to work hard to get what you want, you will be a good fit for our organization. We cannot stress enough the importance of having strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, reliability and a positive attitude. A great personality is essential for building and maintaining relationships with our clients. Cold calling and lead generation are an important part of this position, therefore we need someone who is comfortable with reaching out to potential clients and not discouraged when faced with rejection. At Nevtec we encourage our staff to be creative and use their skills and ideas to be successful at their positions. Therefore, the ability to work with little supervision is key to your success.


What will stand out:

A college degree or equivalent work experience

Prior experience and understanding of Servers, PC components, and Networking Equipment

Prior experience in selling Microsoft Open Value, Sophos, SonicWALL, Symantec or HP

Existing list of contacts or sales generation ideas

Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for a Junior Network Administrator/ Desktop Support Specialist. This is an entry level position for full time employment.

Responsibilities:

Providing desktop support to users both onsite and by phone

Troubleshooting desktop issues such as performance problems, connectivity problems, malware, etc.

Creating work order tickets for new work requests

Monitoring Managed Solution Applications

Providing printer and print server support

Joining computers to domains

Building PC’s and servers

Setting up computers for users, transferring user profiles

Installing and configuring applications such as MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.

Setting up user profiles on terminal servers and moving profiles from old PC’s to new PC’s

Assisting with troubleshooting SSL VPN/VPN Client Access

Requirements:

We are looking for a person who wants to get ahead and will work hard to get there. We cannot stress enough the importance of having excellent phone skills, being able to communicate and work well with our clients and team members, strong organization and self management skills, and thriving on being continuously challenged. This position is for someone who is self motivated, hungry to learn, and detail oriented. A successful candidate for this entry level position must have strong desktop skills and at least basic server experience. Must be comfortable working with both PC’s and Mac’s. Desktop skill set should include experience in troubleshooting, setting up, and supporting Windows workstations (up to Windows 7) in a business environment.

What will stand out:

A college degree or equivalent work experience

At least a Microsoft MCP - This can be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Experience with SonicWALL or other firewalls and with a Corporate Endpoint Protection Solution such as Sophos, Symantec, and Trend.

Comfortable with supporting users in Microsoft Exchange and Outlook Web Access

Experience with Symantec Backup Exec, MAC OS, and Linux OS

The ability to setup a Windows 2008 Server in a simple environment (Install the OS and setup 5 user accounts)
